IceCube's Antarctic neutrino detector earns its founder a Nobel Prize
IceCube Neutrino Observatory, built from nearly 100 detector-filled holes melted in Antarctic ice near the South Pole, has detected high-energy cosmic neutrinos, and its founding leader will receive the Nobel Prize in Physics.
